Glamping

Perfectly positioned for watching the sun rise over North Wales, the Huts provide very stylish glamping accommodation in an unspoilt part of Anglesey. Make yourself a cup of tea, open the top half of the stable door and sit up in the comfy kingsize bed, looking out across the rolling fields towards Snowdonia on the horizon.

Get ready for the day with a hot shower in your ensuite, before maybe cooking some eggs – outside over the firepit perhaps or in your own little kitchen?

The tough decisions come next – will it be a walk along Anglesey’s famous AONB coastline or riding the waves on your surf board at Rhosneigr? You could borrow the Hut’s binoculars and go birdwatching at Cemlyn or South Stack. If you like history, why not explore some of the island’s ancient tombs, like Bryn Celli Ddu or Lligwgy, and see some mystical, magical places? Or will be the Art Gallery in Llangefni, the National Trust’s Plas Newydd, Beaumaris Castle, The Sea Zoo, Halen Môn’s Salt Visitor Centre…

If it’s a glorious day, why not just put blankets and cushions on the grass and soak in the countryside? Free range hens may wander past; the rare breed sheep may come up to the fence to say hello; cows in the distance may make their way to the barn next door for milking; depending on the time of year lambs or calves may call for their mums. Take time to breathe and watch the butterflies and bumble bees.

There’s a BBQ and a table and chairs which you can move around to the spot you like best. In the little storage shed you’ll find BBQ tools, toasting forks, a kettle and pan for using over the fire. A digital radio, books and a few games are to be found in the Hut. The village shop is only half a mile away and stocks most things you’d need. A few basics are already in the Hut to get you started. Have a look at the how to book page for further details of the breakfast and firepit packs.

Each hut has electricity so you can charge your phone, if you need or want to stay in touch with the world. There’s a wall heater so you can get cosy at the flick of a switch. If you prefer the elemental heat of fire, light the firepit and watch the flames dance in the dark. The stars can be stunning out here in the countryside and just a little bit of star-gazing is hugely good for the soul.

The huts are placed far enough apart that you have your own space. The site is designed for grown-ups to have a quiet get away from it all, to relax and enjoy being surrounded by nature – yet be able to sleep, cook and wash in comfort inside. A perfect balance to enable you to have a true holiday, glamping in great style.
